JPA M&E Consultants were the lead designer on a series of Industrial Units within the Team Valley Area. The buildings varied in layout and requirements but each project was well managed and delivered time efficiently, whilst remaining of excellent standard. 

The Unit at 8th Avenue Team Valley formed one of those many industrial units. We simulated the building’s energy output through a detailed Dynamic Simulation Thermal model to accurately estimate the saving that would be present in our energy-efficient design. The building will be one of the very few Zero Carbon output buildings in the North East. Sustainability measures such as air source heat pumps, low permeability, LED efficient lighting, energy-efficient controls, and PV arrays were adopted.
