JPA M&E Consultants is pleased to announce the successful handover of a landmark office scheme located in the iconic Battersea Power Station. With a project value of £2.5 million, this venture represented a significant contribution to the redevelopment of one of London’s most historic sites, which officially opened its doors in 2023.

Given the stringent time constraints associated with this project, our team visited the site to precisely identify and measure the capped-off connections for contractor utilization. This site reconnaissance was pivotal in developing a highly coordinated Stage 4 design. Our meticulous attention to detail ensured that all heights of services were clearly identified on the drawings, along with every builder’s work penetration, to facilitate seamless execution by the main contractor team.

A 4-pipe fan coil unit system was employed throughout the building, and acoustically rated, coordinated building services were integrated due to the presence of exposed ceilings. These design elements not only met but also exceeded the client’s functional and aesthetic requirements for a state-of-the-art commercial office space.
