Bellingham House M&E Consultancy

GPA ABERDEEN

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

JPA M&E Consultants is delighted to announce the successful handover of the Bellingham House project in Sunderland, executed in association with Opus Building Services. The project had an MEP value of £400,000 and involved the design and installation of a new heat network system in accordance with CIBSE CP1 guidelines. The primary objective was to provide a three-storey care home with a low-carbon heating solution while also future-proofing the system to accommodate additional heat pump technologies at a later stage.

One of the significant challenges faced during the project was the building’s limited availability of ceiling spaces and room for concealed services. Nonetheless, our design and build team coordinated effectively to produce a solution that was not only functional but also aesthetically appealing.

Key to the project’s success was the expertise we bring in MEP Consultant Services, including detailed design and build coordination. Our capabilities in coordinating various systems and components allowed us to ensure that the heat network was seamlessly integrated into the existing infrastructure, thereby fulfilling both operational and aesthetic requirements.
