Project Industria is a £38m contractor design and build scheme that will deliver 10,000m2 of new commercial space in Barking, London. The project is currently in the design stage and is due to be completed in 2023.

The scheme has been developed by Barking & Dagenham Council with McLarens as the Main contractor, and Haworth Tompkins as the Lead Architect. The building will deliver around 10,000sqm of industrial space across 45 SME and Flatted Factory units of varying scales, achieved through stacking vertically and, importantly, providing vehicular access to upper floors by a helical van ramp that will allow tenants to service their businesses directly.

JPA M&E Consultants have delivered the project in Revit 3D, with BIM Level 2 sought after and Excellent BREEAM Status.
