JPA M&E Consultants is proud to reveal the completion of a significant project at the TWI TeesAMP Test Centre in Middlesbrough, with a substantial project value of £10.8 million. Commissioned by our longstanding clients, Quartz, we were responsible for the RIBA Stage 4-7 design of this cutting-edge facility.

Initially designed in early 2020 and subsequently delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the project has now been successfully installed. TWI has become the inaugural tenant at TeesAMP, occupying a building that stands as an iconic landmark within the park. The facility serves as a hub for TWI’s expansive high-value research, technology training, and certification activities across multiple sectors including oil and gas, energy, chemical, power, and transport. Notably, TWI is also home to the UK’s first Offshore Wind Validation Centre, further detailed in a BBC article.
